The Jalpa, a 2-door Targa coupe, represented the ultimate development of the body styling started with the Urraco in 1973 and continued with the Silhouette in 1976. The new Lamborghini introduced an interesting and successful blending between a typical 1970s design and new styling tendencies of the 1980s.
