Originally penned by Marcello Gandini, the overall styling was however slightly changed by Chrysler, which owned the Italian brand at that time, which caused the end of the collaboration between the famed coach designer and Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Diablo, though, was a superb supercar. The overall body shaping was less aggressive as the previous flagship, but the Diablo was the first Lamborghini capable of exceeding the 200 mph mark! Through the years, the Diablo underwent several improvements and several versions followed until 2001, when the model was eventually replaced by the Lamborghini Murcielago.
